I am Lorena Urbanelli, PhD and I am a Biochemistry Researcher at University of Perugia, Italy (Lorena.urbanelli@unipg.it).
I did my PhD in field of phage display for the discovery of biomarkers for infectious diseases. During my Post-Doc period I continued in the biomarkers field, investigating the role of lysosomal enzymes as biomarkers of age-related neurological disorders and senescence. In the context of senescence, I developed my interest for EVs, and for their lipid content by lipidomic approach.
