I'm a pharmaceutical chemist with experience in the development of nanobiophotonics-based platforms, including Raman Spectroscopy and Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging, for the detection and biochemical characterization of biomarkers in different human biofluids for disease diagnosis and monitoring and for the evaluation of therapy efficacy.
I’m interested in the application of nanomedicine for both diagnostic and therapeutic point of view. In particular, my field of interest includes the study of circulating extracellular vesicles as complex rehabilitation and regeneration biomarkers with the aim to evaluate their prognostic potential in patients with cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
